Angelina Jolie bursts onto the screen in the title role of relic hunter Lara Croft in a globetrotting adventure that's a cross between Indiana Jones and James Bond.
This adventure features exotic locations in Cambodia and Iceland as well as many United Kingdom locations.
The one we are interested in is where Lara meets one of the baddies, Manfred Powell in his exotic home in London. The interior scenes were filmed in the Indian style rooms at Elveden Hall, Suffolk. When Maharajar Duleep Singh acquired the Elveden Estate in 1863 he rebuilt the Hall in Indian style.
